>> A Primary School has been constructed at Challa Bani near Kamsar Refugee Camp in Muzaffarabad. It has four classrooms, one office, a veranda, and two bathrooms.

>> Two more schools have been built by KRDF in 2008. One in Patika near Muzaffarabad and other one in Rera near Bagh. Patika School was inaugrated on 11th May 2008. In total we have built 4 Schools so far. All these schools are up and running now.

>> FIVE Vocational Training Centres, funded by Kashmir Education Trust (KET), have also been set up by KRDF.

>> Management and running costs of three of these centres is on a shared basis with KET while TWO centres have been handed over to KRDF for sole management. These Centres are located at Makiala Ghirkot, Ravli, Barian, Birpani, and Panyali areas of District Bagh.

>> Further Seven VTC's for women have been set up by KRDF at Dawarian Neelum Valley, Kathieley Muzaffarabad, Sena Daman Jehlum Valley and Kaigala Rawlakot. In total we have established 12 VTC's so far. All these VTC's are run and managed professionally by KRDF.

>> We intend to establish 10 more in year 2008-09 for which we need the sponsors.

>> A computer training centre set up by KET is also managed jointly with KRDF in Bagh.

>> Four water supply project are under construction in remote villages of Azad Kashmir. One in Banjosa near Rawalakot will be ready soon. Many more projects like these are in pipeline.

Each VTC has between 15-20 Sewing Machines each with its own table and chairs, scissors, a generator, and a teacher. The rooms for the centres are rented or donated. Running cost of each centre is £1000 per annum.

Two years have gone by BUT
>> Misery and suffering still continues.
>> Majority of children are still without school buildings.
>> Severe conditions prevail during winter and summer.
