OUR FREEDOM STRUGGLE THROUGH
LITERATURE & MEDIA

Right from the beginning, we have been projecting our political ideology, Aims and Objectives, our short term and long term demands, our activities and our views regarding different events and situations, through booklets, posters, pamphlets, cartoons, new year and Eid cards articles, press conferences, press statements, normal and open letters and memoranda. Our publications have been in Urdu and English. We also published a monthly magazine, the "Voice of Kashmir International" in English and Urdu from 1977 to 1984 and also in 1988.   Three books written by Mr. Amanullah Khan, Chairman JKLF namely Free Kashmir, Jahd-e-Mussalsal (The Continuous Struggle) Volume 1& 2, are also on the ideology of Independent Kashmir though the last two are basically his auto-biographies.

Most of these booklets and pamphlets were written by Mr. Amanullah Khan, Chairman, JKLF, whereas some of them were written by Prof. Zafar Khan, Dr. Shabbir Choudhry, Hafiz Anwar Samavi, Dr. Haider Hijazi, M. Shafi Misgar, Tariq Mehmood Butt,  Dil Mohammad Abbassi and S.M. Afzal. Most of them have been our central office holders. Besides these booklets JKLF has written dozens of memoranda, letters, appeals, joint letters and open letters to leaders of India, Pakistan, Indian held Kashmir and to International figures.
